About Bronwyn
Bronwyn Kilroe, owner of ‘Laughter Sessions’ is a Team Building Specialist, TEDxLytteltonWomen Speaker, Soft Skills Facilitator and is fondly known as Cape Town’s Laughter Coach. Bronwyn is a Certified Laughter Coach and was personally trained by the ‘Founder of Laughter Sessions’ Doctor Madan Kataria, from India.
She facilitates Staff Development programmes for corporate companies to motivate, energise and ‘happy up’ leaders and staff, as research proves that happy teams are productive, high performing teams.
As a Kindness Ambassador, giving back to the community is a high priority for Bronwyn and she has facilitated numerous workshops for cancer support/drug rehabilitation and nursing groups, retirement homes, SAPS and various NPO’s in and around Cape Town, in her passion to spread positivity and laughter to all.
Her philosophy of ‘Relationships First, Business Second’ has been highlighted in her commitment to her local police station – Kirstenhof Police Station, in Tokai, by facilitating regular laughter sessions with them, helping them to reduce the high stress levels created by police-work. The ‘Smile Campaign’ has been a huge success! Laughter and smiles have become a core value in this police station. Yay!
Prior to being a Laughter Coach, Bronwyn worked in the Film and Television Industry. Her highlight being the five wonderful years she spent as a Television Director, filming inserts for the weekly magazine series ‘Free Spirit’ (SABC 3) and producing the Documentary for ‘Issues of Faith: Luck or Destiny’ (SABC 2).

Clients include: Parliament of SA, Mediclinic, Bidvest Prestige, Curo Fund Services, Pick n Pay, Media 24, ABSA, FNB, Woolworths, SARU, Western Cape Government, Brandhouse Beverages and Sanlam (to mention a few) who are proving, that her sessions not only improves staff morale but also increases their productivity and performance levels.
